The Role

As a Social Media Manager at NEMO, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that strengthen brand presence, engage audiences, and support business objectives. You will create high-quality, impactful content, manage client relationships, and ensure consistent delivery across all social media platforms.

The role requires a strong understanding of digital platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and performance focus. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to translate business needs into effective social media campaigns that drive measurable results.

This position combines strategic thinking, content creation, and client-facing responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on ownership, adaptability, and results-driven execution.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Approach potential clients through new leads, cold calls, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means

  • Prepare and deliver a skilled sales pitch to potential clients, either by phone or in person, in an effort to secure a sale

  • Explain the benefits and potential audience of specific media offerings to potential clients

  • Detail pricing and negotiate costs when necessary

  • Facilitate successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company

  • Add notes to records for each client call or meeting

  • Study and understand all facets of the media products and services being offered

  • Train in various sales tactics and approaches approved by the company

  • Track every media purchase made to ensure that it is completed accurately and on time

  • Work to maximize sales and meet quotas in the short and long term

  • Maintain excellent relationships with all clients in the executive's portfolio

  • Travel to see clients, attend tradeshows, or participate in industry events or trainings

  • Meet clients outside of normal business hours when necessary

 

What We’re Looking For

  •  2–3 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar digital marketing role

  • University degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms and their best practices for content creation, engagement, and performance optimization

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Presentations)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken

  • High level of adaptability, reliability, and accountability in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, and deliver under tight deadlines
